I'm assuming you read the install text file that came with the PHP install and that didn't work out?

here's a step by step site, you can either skip over Apache and mysql or read through it and verify that it's what you did: http://www.webmasterstop.com/tutorials/apache-php-mysql-installation.shtml (windows install)

Also a forum with an install tutorial: http://www.webdesignforums.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=61760#post61760

I got Apache 2.0.43 and PHP 4.2.3 running without any problems (on Win2k). Just need to follow the install guide for Apache and the install text file that comes with PHP.

Just bad IIS and Apache don't like each other
