Their hosting is very expensive by my standards, 250mb bandwidth isn't much.

You call $US20 for a year, expensive? As for the bandwidth, that is plenty for some that have simple sites and just want some security. Most, by the time decide to actually pay some money for hosting, do so because a free host could die in the butt just after they join.

I'm not sure if they still allow it, though I know you could offer free webhosting with a subdomain from your domain (if you had your own domain) and the subdomain account would get 100mb transfer and 15mb or something...

Thus, if you were smart, and got too much traffic, you would host a single page on a single account, though that could become tedious after a while :confused2

I did have a free account with them a while back, though I wanted paid, and it was either Portland Enhanced or 9cy.net, I took 9cy

I now think about Portland Enhanced for another domain I wish to obtain

I don't know, 250mb is shaky. $20 per year isn't expensive but why not just spend $10 at go for www.discount-hosting.com . Hosting and domain would only cost $18.88/year.
