Hi ppl,
This si the first time I'm trying to use CGI, I'd just like to know if there is any place that provides free cgi scripts that I can copy and use.
What I'm after is a download counter, that tracks the number of times a link is clicked, and to have that number displayed on part of my website, being updated automatically with each click.

So, if anyone could give me the link, or show me how to construct such a script, I'd b grateful.

Thanx in advance.

Baggio,

Here is the link to The Perl Guide's counter scripts section (one of the best Perl script directories IMHO). Most of the time Perl scripts will need minor modifications whether it be the root address to your site, web address, Perl location, etc. A good script will contain simple instructions for setup. Good luck.
