Host For Domain

Does anyone have any recomendations for free host for a domain (also would like CGI & FTP)? I've noticed Domain Valet (http://www.domainvalet.com/) and My Free Domain (http://www.myfreedomain.com/). Any comments on them? Thanks!

Umm, I am not total sure what you mean, but you might try hypermart.net (http://www.hypermart.net) they offer 20mb space, CGI ftp... etc, they are a great host, I think they will host your domain for free.

Doesn't netcabins.com host domains too?

BTW do the threads get re ordered so the one last posted to get on top? They seem to change place.

Yes, the last thread posted to jumps up so that you get to see the active threads first.

NetCabins does host domains, they are a great host.. I use them myself :)

Yeah, Netcabins is really nice, I use them too.
Anyways, here are a few hosts that give domain hosting:

Xoasis.com: Sorta slow, but no ads, FTP, 10megs
50megs.com: Big name, ok speed, popup or topbanner, 50megs (what did you expect?)
VirtualAve.net and Hypermart.net: Owned by the same people, ok speed, banner or popup, 20megs
Marmoset: Slow, probably run off of a cable modem on sucky hardware, 2megs, no banners

Xoasis.com say they offer cgi but I can't even chmop my damn cgi files. I get a permission denied message.

Virtual Avenue or HyperMart are by far the best. JumpWorld.net looks promising, but I haven't tried them before.
