I am new to the board but I have a question regarding free hosting options and using Frontpage. Could anyone suggest my options if I have my own domain name and need about 20 megs space? I'm not certain how much bandwidth I would need if I'm getting about 100-150 hits a week. Up until now, I have had my site at Freeservers.com but I've had problems uploading my updated files and they can't seem to solve the problem. Up until then, I've had no problems with their service and I was able to use my domain name.

I would really hate to have to pay in order to use Frontpage.

Thanks in advance for your help!

As far as I know, neither tripod, digitalrice, f2s nor datablocks will host your domain.

And Hypermart & V-ave requires a credit card.... if you dont have one you might as well forget about them

Check out http://www.digitalibiz.com
It provides domain hosting and will support frontpage if you request it for no extra charge. There's also different payment methods including checks, money orders, credit card, and paypal. Plans are incredibly cheap also!

And of all of the fwps listed, only F2S has FP.

To the gal above me: That's a paid host. We're talking about FREE hosts here...

Or is it a girl? I'd call a "vixen" a chick, but what do I know. And if you really need domain hosting, you could cloak your domain and redirect with mydomain.com or zoneedit.com, then use any host that allos FP.

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions!

I think I'm going to give digitalrice a try and see how it works out. The options for domain use, free hosting, and Frontpage are pretty limited, so I'm going to try cloaking it using mydomain.com

I really appreciate your input!
