have you tried playing it in another player?? what version of wmp do you have?? you probably don't have the necessary codecs....have you tried downloading it again - most of the time it is an error in downloading...are you on dial-up??

just download it again, sometimes it just doesn't come out right no matter what you try... it's still streaming media without guarenteed delivery, ASFRecorder was just a "hack" to show the insecurity of streaming asf/wmv copyright wise.

What's the link to the stream? Can try and see if it works here

*points up*
just download it again, streams were never meant to be saved to disk so sometimes they get messed up when the data rate isn't constant or some packets don't quite make it to you.

Also it's not guaranteed to work. Microsoft "fixed" it a few months back since I've been unable to download any of the streaming media on their site.
You're breaking copyright by downloading it so be happy it still works in most cases. :p

well its not really secret but its not exactly supposed t be downloaded..lol..but i have a lousy 56k modem whch means streaming videos is a nightmare and almost a waste of time..heres a link to one of the files, people are definitly downloading and then watching it no problem, i just cant seem to be able to watch it without this error coming up

you're not by any chance trying to play it with Windows Media Player 7 or 9? It wouldn't play in WMP9 for me but it'll play fine with mplayer2.exe
