I went out with a bunch of friends last night to see this movie, and it was one of the most horrible movies I have ever seen. If you have any common sense at all, you will be able to predict the entire movie in no time. I saw the preview on TV today with the quote "It will make you jump". Yes, it will if you're a teenage girl who's scared by cheap, sudden events (i.e. - cat jumping onto the hood of a car, the lead character's friend suddenly sticking her head into his window - sadly, these were the only parts of the movie that made some people in the theater scream).
The theater was packed when I went, nobody was scared, and the fact that pretty much everyone was talking through the whole thing was more proof that it didn't hold anyone's attention. If I wasn't there with a whole bunch of people, I would have walked out after the first 30 minutes.
Save yourself a few bucks, don't see this movie.
