what's up with stas.net

Is it just my imagination or is stas.net really down?
Are they out of business or is this only temporary?

IMO, unless you're rich like nbci, it's not possible to offer anything "unlimited". Crosswinds was smart here, see. First they built up reputation (good guys of the internet), then when they ask their "faithful" members to donate a few bucks, a lot of people were willing, see? Then they start placing pop-ups on their thousands of hosted pages, and they start making $$$!

stas.net seems to be down right now. So is atomichosting.net.

stas.net WAS down for a long time. Thats why I moved to brinkster. Hopefully they won't goo crap.

Yeah, I see that good free hosting with lots of space is really impossible to find.
I'm really having bad luck: first stas goes down and then gcsnet goes down. :(
Is stas down permanently or only temporary?

Even if stas is just temporarily down, I'll bet it won't last for very long. If it's gone, then "it's about time"! :p
