ANYWAY... Ill have to get an anesthetic... which is gonna HURT! But I was prepared to do that... but I didnt know Id have to HAVE STITCHES FOR A WEEK! :cry2: Im going on Friday.... I dunno how many stitches...like maybe one or two... do they hurt?!

Neither the anaesthetic nor the stiches will hurt. the needle is just a poke, then everything goes numb. the spot will be tender for a week or so, but that's about it.

I've had lots of experience with anaesthetics:confused2

sutures :) Hey trunks, aren't you worried about the scar it will leave, that will blemish the perfection too :p

Whatever. I got a wicked 8 inch scar on me. I never looked better in my estimation :p anasthetics definitely do not hurt.

Taking the stitches out is a little uncomfortable, but more than tolerable. You'll be fine.

I kinda got a scar... I've got "MuDvAyNe" written across my arm... I had carved it in with a knife, and now that it's all healed, my tan is non-existant where the cuts was. So its basically white text on tanned skin... kinda cool :p

no comment on the above, Akalon :nervous: no worries, though.

So now that we're talking about scars I must contribute. Hell, I'll take it a step further too; i'll tell you how I got them:

My biggest scar is on the inside: All the muscles and tendons surrounding my right shoulder are basically scar tissure. Throwing a football for too long induces pain and I'm officially forbidden to kayak, rock climb, or lift weights above my head/

and then there's this 6" long patch of skin on my back that got turned into ground beef when I met pavement at high speed. They had to dig the gravel out tweezers. ----ing hurt.

and finally there's a dime sized "bullet hole" in my right leg. I was chopping wood with a sledgehammer and a wedge. the top of the wedge exploded and a piece about the size of a .22 shell ended up in my leg. I didn't know what hit me till my pants froze to my leg. I had to dig that out with tweezers too. The piece made a rude sucking sound when it came out.

I wont even mention the time I shot myself with a pellet gun...

but yeah. scars.

WELL... I can always fix that with like...plastic surgery. Anyway, I can just have the scar with pride and say I got it while playing a game me and some friends play called Smash. Everyone will believe me... ^_^ Smash is quite a brutal game. But fun! Reminds me of Quiddich actually...

Anyways, a scar is better then a brown spot...

When I was about 6 I went out with a friend into a creek type place and we were exploring... I fell down, didn't know anything happened, it didn't hurt at all --then my friend pointed to my leg and there was a huge cut with blood just spilling out...

I went to get stitches in it and it hurt like hell. It wasn't the anaesthetic or the needle going through my skin, it was that stuff, to be safe the poured that stuff in my open wound to kill any bacteria or any disease that I might have gotten because who knows, I could've follen on a piece of rusty metal...

Just curious trunks, did the doc suspect melanoma? They don't usually remove freckles because of a 13 year old's vanity :p

You can tell the difference between melanoma and a wart Jan. At least I assume so.

He said it was a small mole, not a wart :p But living in Aus, melanoma is always a concern, moreso in the southern states.

I would of thought moreso in the Nothern States (NT and QLD) and of course WA. At least down here in Vic and Tas it isn't all that hot unless your up near the top of vic, especially when compared to any of the states i mentiones above. On the other hand i have this wicked scar on my Knee from an footy injury.

Same here.

I got a scar on my nose when I got hit with the blade of a hockey stick.

Got a 3" scar on my right arm while playing basketball, got majorly fouled while going for the lay-up and hit the pavement quite hard. Still got the And1. :)

And I was pelted by many people with airsoft guns in random places...

It doesn't have to be all that hot to get sunburnt in Tasmania, seasoned Territorians and Queenslanders have gone for a holiday in Tasmania and ended up with quite severe sunburn.

In the nearly three years since I have been up here I have never been sunburnt.

melanoma? befre this thread, i have never heard that word...so he did just do it to help my vanity ;) . Remember, *living in aus*. Im in canberra. Looks to all canberrans are important. For example, at my school youd think all the guys are gay (ie: sexy hair, great body etc) and all the women are....err... women.

Also, melanoma is skin cancer.

What's it to you? It won't last for 70 years because it just needs to be tanned over and fyi I did it when I used to self-mutilate and got sick of cutting straight lines all over my body.

Don't judge me... who says I wouldnt want a Mudvayne scar in 70 years anyway?
