I'll set the scene. I go into my User CP to change my email addy. Eventually find out where to go, and i change it. Anyways i start looking through threads and i see Jan's one about Aussies.

Anyways i go in and read it, and am about to post a reply when i get that screen that says "You do not have permission to do this, either the administrator has disabled your account....."

Anyways i start to think, Oh Oh, what did I do? Hmm maybe it is only this thread. Go into another same thing happens. AHHH, WTF DID I DO?

Anyways next thing i decide to see if i can PM Jan to see if anything is going on, so i click on
her name, and go to, "Send This User A Private Message." Click. "You do not have permission to do this, either the administrator has disabled your account....." AHHH now im really worried.

Next thing i look at the users online and i think to myself, "Hmm something is missing," "Where the f*** is my PM thingy?"

This gets interesting at this point, and i mutter a string of words while i try to figure out what is going on. All this took about 20-30 minutes of my time.

I decided to come back a bit later to see if anything had changed... nope same thing. Bugger, I must have been banned. Anyways decided to go check my email to see if i have an email stating that i have been banned. After 50 or so spam emails i get one from Freewebspace.Net.

So i open it up and it reads,
"Dear Moonman,

Since you have recently changed your email, we require that you verify your new email address. You will only need to click on the link once, and your account will be updated.

To complete reverification, click on the link below:"

Again i mutter another string of words as i click the link and feel like an absolute total idiot, and that's when i decided to post my story.

Heh, I know teh feeling, Themanonthemoon. I had a similiar problem, but it wasn't the result of me not checking my mail, it was the result of vBull not sending me the email in the first place.

Anyone remember this thread? http://freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=7100&highlight=alt0160

It was probably before most of you were around though.
