OK, I've never understood this. Miva Corp sells a compiler for MivaScript for $600 on their website (yes, I know, a ridiculous price). However, I'm not sure if a compiler needs to be installed on a server in order for programs written in MivaScript to run properly. They also offer Miva Virtual Machine and Miva Empressa, which can be downloaded from their site for free. I'm not quite sure as to the function of these two applications. Basically, I want to know if I can ask my host to install MivaScript for free, as I really would like to try it out. :D

Could someone please take a look for me? Thanks!

i took a look at the, and according to it you only need the Vm. With the compiler you can distrbute binary code like C++ programs.

Hmm...that is interesting. I'd imagine that there would be more Miva hosts, considering it's free for download. :confused2
