I joined CJ, but whenever I paste the code they give me I don't get a banner to display. I dont' know what I'm doing wrong. I like add the links and then get the code, and then paste that code into my page. I asked them there, but no one replied, so I thought I'd give it a shot here.
Also I noticed that a lot of the hosts ask for an SSN (such as fastclick), and I was wonder why? Do I have to pay tax on the amount I receive? Cause they are also asking me to fill out a W-4. Hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum roswell :)
Could you please post a test URL here for a page that contains your CJ code? It's hard to see where you've gone wrong without being able to view your source code.
As for the SSN question, income earned online is treated exactly the same as income earned offline. That is, once you reach a certain threshold of income/year, you are required to pay tax on that (with business-related deductions subtracted or returned, of course).
If you're just starting out in the biz, remember to keep good records of everything, so that filing your tax return (and managing your cash flow) is as simple as possible.

Why Thank you Czar! :)
Well, mine is really not a business. It's just a fan site, except it's hosted on a server, and it's taking up a lot of bandwidth and I just think it's really hard to pay it all out of hand. So anyway, it can be found at http://www.roswellrevealed.com/phpBB/
That's where my CJ banners are located. And also, I think I got the banners to display now, although I don't think the clicks are being recorded. And I chose all the programs that said it has a pay per click thing going! Oh this so hard! Fastclick seems so much more easier! :)
Anyway, thanks in advance for your help!

yup. They seem to be working fine now.
Don't worry about the stats. While CJ reports revenue generated through some merchant links in real-time (which is what you're used to seeing through FastClick), others take a day or two before being reported in full.
As such, if you check back tomorrow, you should see your clickthrough revenues being reported accurately.
Until then, make sure you don't make any more 'test' clicks, as these could put your account under suspicion.
Oh, and in regards to the tax issue. If this is your only source of income (ie, if you're a student), and you earn only a few hundred dollars a year, you most likely won't need to pay tax on your earnings. I'm not sure where the threshold lies in your country, so you might want to check with someone in the know. Of course, it never hurts to keep good records in any case. Who knows, if the site is a dramatic success, this may turn into a business (or full-time hobby ;)) for you at some stage.
