I submitted my new and 1st ever urls about 3 weeks ago to lycos and many others. So far only two of the 17 I submitted indexed on Lycos today 4-5-2001. I'm finily on the web lol. The two that got indexed did well. My sound bites page got #1 spot when using -free sound bites- as the search phrase. But my -free webmaster tips- got 57th. I think I'll have to twik my meta tags. What is the normal time frame from submit to indexed for most engines???

It varies a l lot from about one week to about three I think is the most common. I'm still waiting for Google to do another spydering... they're taking ages! :(

you might want to add this as a metatag on your site as well (if you don't already)

<meta name="revisit-after" content="7 days">

Helps keep your site fresh in the engines

I have revisit every 30 days...every 7 day they might count you for spam. Deep spidering robots have changed there ways.
many used to use <!-- and put there discreption in here to get extra key words --> robots now count this as spaming.
