can anyone give me some advice/help?
here is my problem, seems usually when exiting from a program like netscape or eudora mail, sometimes my computer will freeze up for a few seconds and when i try to hit alt-ctrl-del i get the blue screen saying "system is busy" then i have to reset it, this happens quite often, any solutions or suggestions? much thanks.

Email Bill Gates. (That's assuming he has an email account... ;) Anybody know his email address? bill@micro----.com? I'm guessing he doesn't have one publicized, because if he does, his inbox is gonna go bust. :D)

I get those too. And there's nothing you can do about it except to get Win2k or maybe even the earlier NT. You're using Win98, right?

Here are some things i have done to cut down on the bsods.

Reformatted my HD and reinstalled everything. that fixed it.

you could try defrag, or maybe buy some more ram.

ah ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

you know how many bsod's i get? about 1 or 2 annually.

you need to keep from getting it all cluttered up, not randomly installing programs willy nilly, every here and there...

and maybe defragging the poor thing every now and then wouldn't hurt either.

The best solution is to upgrade to Windows 2000, it is very stable if you keep it working correctly. The reason why you get so many BSOD's with Windows 98 is because you need to treat the thing with tons of T.L.C. or it will go bust. Reformatting and reinstalling also fixes those problems up.

reformatting and/or reinstalling will fix any problem, but you need to back up everything or start over from scratch.
