Don't mind that... my old 486 DX2/66mhz pooter case always showed "88", no matter what.

I suppose you can try pressing the Turbo button, if there is one, though I don't think anything will happen. Actually, I don't even know what the turbo thing is supposed to do.

It loads some stuff in the BIOS so your computer runs faster, and maybe even crashes(it's not windows!)

Well, I didn't notice any performance difference.

I just want to change it to what the speed of my system really is.. 800. Grrr... I know you need to change jumpers or something but I can't remember. Any help is appreciated. And ya and btw, no turbo button. It's a new custom built system.

Your computer is a sleeper; It goes faster than it looks. Im sure it will run just fine without having the proper number there.

Racing stripes dont make a car go faster

so why don't they have turbo on all computers if it make it go faster?

Some computers don't work with the turbo button not pressed so they don't have one for people to fiddle with ;)
They probably have one inside the motherboard for the manufacturer/fixer guy to fiddle with if something goes wrong :)

Hope that helped!!!!!!!

Don't worry, when i turn mine on it first says HI and then has LOADING WINDOWS scrolling across it and then when connecting to internet via internal modem it has CONNECTING TO ONE.NET scrolling across then when printing or scanning it says PRINTING or SCANNING and it crashes or freezes it has CRASH or FREEZE. It shows my name!!!! cool huh :) oh...and when pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ALT if shows the time. Pentium 6, custom made 800.
