textarea or frames?

Can anyone tell me all the things you can do with text areas? Or a site that has a tutorial about text areas? How can you put an image and links in a text area? Thanks!

A textarea is exactly that, an area for text. You can't put images in it, you can't put HTML in them, the most youcan do is change the way it looks through CSS. You might want to look into iFrames.
