There is lots of 3 letter domains still available with .net and .com extensions.
Hmm..I just searched for random domains, and all the 3 letter domains I tried were registered.
Woo-hoo...I found a .net: rb4.net
Okay, this is crazy the domains people register. Just a few months ago I found tons of 3 letter .com's.

Short domains are in high demand nowadays, a forward thinking person would register them all and sell them for tons of $$$ later on. I would, but I don't have that much money...

i searched all combinations for 1, 2, and 3 LETTER domains yesterday and there were 3 out of 52,780 domains. lol. (all of which have been registered since yesterday)

you know what i hate?
i hate it when people register domains just to register them... like the ones that go to like a search engine and search for the domain without http://www and .xxx... or ones that are registered but just don't work... most of these domains that are registered and not used could be put to good use...

Omari, I agree. But people are greedy, and they want to use domains like stocks, buy high, sell low.

I don't quite understand this 3 character domain craze... I mean, what's the point of having a 3 character domain name when it's not easy to remember? I mean, I'd go for m00n.net (just an example) anyday over this g6c.org

I guess people like 3 letter domains cause they look cooler for redirection than 4 letter domains.

Well, I would have a purpose for three letter domains. If they are initials, or an acronym, they make sense. But registering stuff like h7f.com is dumb.
BTW, whateever domain I said earlier on in the thread was using register.com .

so n8o.com is stupid even though people are offering 200 dollars for it
dapcgenius

n8o.com sounds like nato.com so people might be willing to spend $200...

Stupid, really. To me, that's like a domain name that goes 23ab489u23r90has0212kj989a87.com, just shorter. Who's gonna remember your "easy-to-remember" 3 character domain that doesn't make much sense?! Like I suggested above, it's way easier to remember m00n.net than n8o.org...
Maybe the guy who's willing to pay $200 has too much dough. My guess is that he's gonna resell the domain for an even higher price, and the domain is pretty much useless.
