Mr. Law of clawz.com is trying to make enough money to afford a high speed line and a cheap lease on a small building for his business. Wish him luck

Illegal or Immoral?
Robert

How do you know it's illegal? Maybe the cable company he is with allows him to host a server. He did get kicked off the first time from @HOME for running a server, I doubt he would try it a second time.

Um excuse me guys. @Home allows servers to be hosted now. Im with @Home, and as soon as I get my other computer back (lent it to my sister) im gonna start my own. Or just try to get Clement as much money as I can. I dono, I just think clawz.net is an amazing service. And the tech support is good too.

When did @Home say this? Can I have the URL for the news article saying that servers are allowed? I don't think @Home would do this or else they wouldn't cap their users' upload speed. Or did they kill the cap also? Are they going bankrupt?

i was just at the @home website two days ago, they don't allow servers of any kind

I just doubted the fact that @Home allows servers because I wouldn't allow them myself if I owned @Home.

A fact that is lost on Coolin.
I'd like to see him start a FWP. It'd have a topbanner, footbanner, pop-up, watermark, and a url like this:
http://members.coolinhost.com/hostedsites/users/sites/yourname
Oh, and each page would have an embedded .wav saying "Ignore this site! Click the banners! I started this FWP with no cash whatsoever! My precious banners will save me!"

What, stupidly?

I'd like to elaborate on that. Obviously, to have a succesful FWP, you must have customers; so therefore, any smart businessman (yes, God forbid someone make a profit) will make sure that he can get customers as well as have a profit making agenda. So, all the smart stuff listed would not be the ideal host for the businessman. Try thinking for once.

It's "diss", btw... ;)
Personally, I don't see any problems with Coolin's "sarcastic" post.

that's because maybe you're used to his sarcastic posts
I have no problems with the way he writes
but some of his posts may anger other people

I'm sorry if I "offended" people in this forum. But the fact still remains, I was no the one who started bad mouthing people. I beileve my post was to NOT have sarcastic remarks. And all of a sudden I had 4 people or so tell me "I suck" in their own words. I don't know. I'm not in this to make a profit. In fact I will not make one cent off of this. All of the money will be going towards clawz.com, as the banners are theirs. I'm not a bussiness man, im just trying to help people out, by providing free services which can be understood by anyone.
