question about pm's [Archive]

can I just hold on to all the pm's I ever get or should I clean it out ever so often? :confused:

Once you reach a total of 70 (inbox and sent box) you can't receive any more. People will get an inbox full message if they try to PM you.

Thanks... saw someone mention they couldn't pm someone and then someone else saying they needed to clear out their pm list so thought I'd ask... better go take a look at how many I have now :)

Most of the time to keep a copy of a sent message is useless. It only builds up and it is a cumbersome procedure to clean. I think the "keep copy" box should be unchecked by default.

If you go to the bottom of the main index page, you will see Private Messages and at a glance you see how many you have. Here is my current one:

Jan - You have 0 new message(s) since your last visit.
(You have 0 unread messages and 64 total messages in all your folders.)
