Domainzero and VirtualAve

I registered my domain at domainzero and now i am using virtualave to host my domain. When i go to change my nameservers at domainzero i have four blanks so i enter primary and secondary host name and when i click on modify it says "Errors modifying nameservers: Invalid attribute value"
what am i doing wrong and how can i fix it

With DomainZero, make sure that you select 'Use your own nameservers' in the box above the area to type your nameservers. I cannot say much about using Virtual Avenue with DomainZero, because i have never used it with a domain name, I just use it with my free webspace provider.

also, make sure you DON'T use the IP of the nameservers, use the other address
