The version of PHP you are using doesn't have support for connecting to a PostgreSQL database server. You need to enable the PHP PostgreSQL extension before you can proceed.

this happened to me when i tried to setup mysql with php.it turned out that u have to download a file that enable php and the databese to work with each other.what OS are u using?

I'm on a paid account at valcato. Linux os.

Anyway I can enable this on my account only? or it must be a server-wide change?

so its not ur server?if its not ur server,u will need to ask ur host to install the extension

i dont think so.its a software that must be installed by server administrator(i think)

Ok,

I asked my friend to make me an account on his account on another server.

Setup didnt complain about no postgre.
But how can I actually create a postgre sql database?

admin panel = Ensim

I can only find phpmyadmin for mysql?
