When i try to open a .cgi or .pl file from the web in IE it asks me if i want to download or open from current location. I dont know how this happened but i had no problem before. Does anyone have any idea how i can rectify this problem? Thanks.

that's probably cuz your server doesn't support perl/cgi

Is it on your computer, or a remote one? If it's one yours, then you should associate the .cgi and .pl extensions to the perl exe. If it's on the web,(which it couldn't be), you'd be able to see the source for any cgi script out there. That would be amazing...

I guess it fixed itself. It must have been a server issue because i tryed my other server and it worked fine. In any case, its all better now :) thanks
