Wireless lan dosnt work on win2k os.
No drivers on cd.
their website is dead.

I aint buying cheap ---- anymore:angry2:

Who makes the Wireless Adapter?

Is it USB or PCI?

I just installed a netgear USB Adapter on my dads computer so he can be on my wireless netowork, ----- n a half it was. He has Win2k. This spring I am goin go to redo his computer and put XP on there!

I aint buying cheap ---- anymore:angry2: Try a driver search on the manufacturer and if that fails look for standardized chipsets on the LAN card and look for those. The FCC number can help you, you can look up some details that way.
You really should look if someone you're buying will work on the OS you use though :confused2

If that's not the model you have, look around the site. OR you could just use Google like I did.

Carebear, how should I look around for this chipset thing?

Bruce, this is the new generation 10mbit card.

Mine is the old one that started the wireless thingy. It's 1mbit

Cardname : Acer Warplink 2401
FCC ID: NKRWARPLINK01

did a search for both on google
card name returned some russian/chech site where I can buy it
dcc id returned nothing
