Where can I get some? (gpl or freeware)
www.linuxapps.com has links but, some are dead, some are paid software and some just suck.
I'm mostly interested in an Msn Messenger clone for linux. I have Everybuddy now, but I don't like it's interface, a little buggy, plus I screws my nick everytime it logs in. Any other?
Also, staroffice used to be free, but when I last checked it costed $? weird... Any other MsOffice-like applications for linux?
What are some free-linux-softwares-only sites?
I checked on google and didnt come up with anything interesting.

You'll find few, if any, sites for linux programs. http://tucows.com would probably be your best bet.
Most everything is already included with the distro though. RedHat comes with 3 discs of just programs.
OpenOffice is still free and available at http://openoffice.org

Yes!
I found the CHIP CD (www.Chip.pl) that contains StarOffice 5.1 for linux, Full Version :)
How to mount my cdrom now?
mount /dev/xxx /cdrom
xxx = ?
Also, I found this site:
http://msn.CompuCreations.com/
It says I need WISH.
What is WISH and how do I get it?

mount dev/dev2 /cdrom
Replace dev2 with whatever device your cdrom is.

Yeah I use GAIM...but only with those horrible AIM graphical (graphic?) smilies turned off :p
[edit]
http://download.com also detects your OS from your browser's UserAgent string, if you go there while logged into a linux box there's a collection of software there.

Old StarOffice 5.1 isn't what we espect from full featured Office suite nowadays. OpenOffice.org is based on StarOffice but it's being developed. New StarOffice 6 is based on OpenOffice.org but there are no big differences expect clipart and database. If you don't need database, OpenOffice.org has everything you need.
