I am working on an HTML tutorial and I am making a tutorial now about linking things. I have made 2 diffrent things. The first one is made with DHTML. It is found here: http://www.matthewj.addr.com/test/test.html The other one is with Javascript pop-up windows. It is here: http://www.matthewj.addr.com/test/test2.html I was wondering which one looks the best and will be the best for the people learning? Thanks a bunch!

Both looks like JavaScript to me. Hard to say what is best, since I don't know what it's for. What had you planned for the the popups?
Now it doesn't really matter because I looked around a little. Are you sure "Hi! My name is Matthew and I am going to teach you how to make your own web page." shouldn't read "Hello. My name is Joe and I'm going to give you a few simple lessons on how to make a Web Page."? Joe as in Joe Barta, http://www.pagetutor.com/. Planning on getting the graphics later?
If I was you I would take that site down as of now.

I read a little more. It's even worse than I first thought. After the first page you seem to have grown tired of rephrasing and start to use exactly the same words most of the time. Planning to do all of the HTML tutors? Maybe the JavaScript one too? I wouldn't care about the CSS thing. Joe is just re posting WDG's guide.
Hope you are a kid. Otherwise you are just an --- hole. And dumb. Very.

I think the seconde is better, but you should load all the popups in the same windows. Then you won't end up with 50 popup windows.

I don't think <quote>"--- hole"</quote> goes far enough for you, matthewj. However I don't want to get into trouble for flaming you. I'm a coward. You're an "*******".
This is what happens when someone has a good idea. I hope Mr. Barta takes this as a compliment.
I wouldn't.

Thank you polestar. I was beginning to fear I was the only one that saw any, huh, "resemblance".
We have probably all of us stolen something on the Net. But not registering a software, as wrong as it may be, is not the same as taking another persons whole work and try to pass it off as your own.
You are slime matthewj. Better wise up.

I am going to change a lot in my tutorial. I'm just practcing right now.
I am going to be using that to explain how to link to diffrent documents. Like on the moseover one I would put what you would put in the a tag to link to the other document lik games/index.html. All I am wondering is which one you think would work and looks better. Thanks!

Sheesh...you really don't get the point, do you? It isn't "your" tutorial and changing it a bit (more) won't do...

All I did was ask a question about which desgin you thought was better. I didn't ask if I "copied" Joe's tutorial and FYI I didn't copy it. Could you please answer my question?

I did answer and you did copy. Or do you mean it's plain coincidence the two tutorials are almost identical?
Here are some URLs for you if you need more material when you are through with this one.
