Hello

I'm downloading Yoper Linux and dumping RedHat 8.0 for now and when Mandrake 9.1 final comes out, I plan to take that for a spin too. Anyway, Yoper looks and sounds pretty dang good and it's been 1# on the list at distrowatch.com for months now. Anyone use it or hear about it?. Was it a beast to install and use or were you thrilled with it?

Hmm... I've never even heard of it. It looks interesting though... maybe I'll give it a whirl too.

Actually, after just checking on their site, I think I'll wait 'til it's out of Beta. I much prefer stable releases, especially when it comes to my OS.

By the way, should I post this over at WHT as well? :p

Yes, yes I think you should post it in as many places as you can now get busy!. Mush!...mush!;)

Actually, you could probably download it now since it's in it's fourth pre-release (ie; not a beta). The only thing holding up the final version is that they are waiting for the new KDE and XFree86 to come out. Other than that, it's pretty much done.

I'll still probably wait a bit as I'm trying to get acquainted with WinXP right now.
