Everytime I try to install Jedi Outcast it intializes the game install and what not but instead of installing the program it says do you want to completely remove this application and won't install the game. The first time it was installing it crashed and I think it only partially installed but I removed the folder and the reg enteries so how do I get it to let me install the game?

I am running Windows XP

is it still listed in the Add/Remove programs windows (under control panel)?

Hobo, go along with its saying, uninstall like its asking you to...then try to reinstall (is it a bought game or a burn?)

BTW, i'm having a similar problem on XP...i installed a game (just testing it out for a friend) then tried to uninstall it (both through add/remove and the uninstall in the game folder) and it says "do you want to completely uninstall, i say yes, and it says "maintenance complete"...i then manually deleted the game folder, but it still appears in my add/remove saying its 3.5MB and says "maintenance complete" every time i activate the add/remove....i have reinstalled, i have repaired, i have done everything...i just can't get the dang thing off my pc :confused2

Yeah, and when I try to remove it it just stays there.

Is there some way to remove it from the add/remove programs? I think that it is because the computer crashed when it was installing. Maybe I can remove the entry straight from the Windows XP registry files. If so where would it be at?
