Also, your site looks absolutely AWFUL in Mozilla. I am agree with you notnamed. There are many hosts like that. aspfunda March 8th, 2003, 12:31 You cant call this fre hosting at all .... your post should be deleted this is not a paid hosting forum ..... misterdotnet March 8th, 2003, 12:38 Hi Aspfunda, Greetings, I disagree with you. The hosting is free. We do not charge for hosting. What the customer is paying is the new domain registration or the domain transfer. When you get a free hosting account with geocities, angelfire or tripod, technically that hosting isn't free either because you are reimbursing them by running their banners, pop-unders, pop-ups etc. on your site. So they are getting paid through your efforts because you are the one bringing the visitors to your web site and they are getting paid. All companies will get paid for hosting one way or the other. Some companies will charge upfront others will devise a way to generate revenues from your efforts. Either way, technically nothing is free in the long run :-) Best Wishes, Sam Mister.net http://Mister.net jurupa March 8th, 2003, 16:20 Shouldn't domian transfer be free? All you are doing is changing the DNS ips are you? misterdotnet March 8th, 2003, 16:24 Hi Jurupa, Actually one more year is added to your domain expiration date. In other words, when you transfer a domain, it automatically adds one year to your domain renewal. So you are paying the fee of adding another year to your account in the process of domain transfer. Hope this clarifies. Best Wishes, http://Mister.net | ||||
