I'm setting up a new site. It's not open for the public yet. If you people could give me some comments and stuff, I can improve it. URL (for now, until my other account is active): http://www.digitalrice.com/phdom .

Any ideas on how to change the logo? Maybe a background pic? Some extra categories? Just name it.

Nice job, not too special, loads very fast, ....
maybe you could change the background color of the text to some sort of light purple
Only the background of the text, not the background of the whole page.
I assume that's it's gonna be your homepage for your webdesign stuff ? In that case, I would add some little special effects, that you can make in flash / DHTML, to impress yor visitors.

I was thinking about making a flash navigation bar, but it's gonna take some time cause flash 5 is so damm hard.
Maybe going to make a DHTML menu, hmm. And the text of the navigation is already on a light purple background, or do you mean of the base page?
An other question:should I use frames or just put the navigation a the page using SSI?

Good idea !
You have to make sure that your visitors have an reason to come back to your page, otherwise, you won't get alot visitors. So I think yor site needs a little bit more content, to attract more visitors. Or you could create a very special design / interactive design, so visitors would be attracted to that!
(The design at the moment is very nice, has class, but is not extremely special)
If you're looking for a realy good basic flash tutorial, I suggest you read the tutorials in CLICKX (a dutch internetmagazine - I beleive you live in Belgium). They are realy good.
Or look @ http://www.flashkit.com, they have great tutorials / examples !
About the background, I ment the base page (It was just an idea)
btw, I think frames is the most easy solution.

Would like to see it when your links are added. As for formate loads fast, easy to view and plays well with others.
Giving you a 7 out of 10 stars. You might want to change the scroll bar to purple to match your color theme! I get alot of people asking how I did that.

I already know flash(4), flash 5 is so mutch different, but I'm getting allong with it. But I just can't get it the way I want, well. Soon my flash bar will be ready. That scrollbar is a good idea, just need to find the code (I know I got it somewhere).

I uploaded a new version, no major changes. Only prob is that digitalrice takes some time to update the pages.

It's up now. Used a little trick. Also I have an account at ms-network.net. If their speed proves good, and I can get my phpBB to work, this i gonna be the future host.
BTW I got a domain registred, just need to wait a week (.kg) for it to work.
If anyone knows any other ad free host with php or asp, let me know.

ms-network is slow.
Nice DHTML navbar, check your spelling though... (the text that appears when you mouseover "Examples" is one plus some small grammar mistakes)
Overall nice layout, keep it up.
