View Full Version : Unsavoury content in address bar?

When I click the arrow to the right of the address bar in Internet Explorer, among the websites I've visited in the last 24 hours I also see a number of porn sites (which I have NOT visited.) They are not in my history. What are they doing there and how can I get rid of them?

Clear your history, and get Ad-Aware.

Clear the autocomplete settings also.

The sites are not in my history...where is autocomplete in the file system?

Autocomplete should be in View>Internet Options and is somewhere around there.

Autocomplete is in Tools > Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete
