Note: No porn is allowed, and no one under the age of 17 is allowed on the forums.
SexualForums.com (http://sexualforums.com), i just opened it and i need suggestions for the site. I want to make it a sex education forum where people can talk all sex all the time.
Any suggestions?

A few thoughts.
The forum moderator will have to be stern about the no porn / no pick-ups atmosphere that you want.
The 17 age restriction is a joke as it is. If you are serious about that, you need to do better checking.
Do you have an M.D. that you can ask about some of the questions that are asked? You said that you want the forum to be a place for advise and information. You need to make sure that some experts visit the site regularly.
You should figure out in advance what to do about the people who ask about kinky sex. ("Kinky" as defined by the general tone of the forum.)

Why is 17 a joke? It's not a porn forum or any illegal to minors, not like i am doing anything wrong..
Least i'm not as bad as govteen.com where they let 11 year olds talk about how they had sex and oral sex, ect...
As for mods, i know that. I have a few people ready to help

I meant that there is no enforcement of your age limit.
The limit is reasonable, but I don't think that your software will stop a youngster from coming in.

Same with a porn website. More as for a legal reason. If i find out somehow, then i remove the user

Just one thing. If you say nobody under 17 is allowed in, what about people from countires other than the US where it is legal for them to have sex at say 16? If it's to talk about sex, get advice about safe sex and the likes I wouldn't impose an age limit at all. What is it for? If minors are reading it and registered, at least they're informed and hopefully keeping themselves safe.
Also, I find it kind of off putting that you have "adult content hosting specialists" adverts on all of your pages

You`ve hit on a good site idea the restrictions IMHO won`t work unless you have very good secuity and even then you`ll have probs, if you stick to not allowing porn onto the site then again IMHO you won`t need age restrictions as such as it can been looked upon as Education. Good Moderation and as was said above maybe bring in a MD. :)
