Does anyone know what's going on with http://www.kyd.net ? I've got a guestbook hosted there, but they're always down. When they're not down they're deleting messages whenever they feel like it.

I've noticed them to be quite unstable over the past month since they "upgraded their server". You might want to find another service.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I think I will ditch them since they're a complete waste of time, but I want to rescue my messages first. Hope they haven't lost them.

Can anyone recommend a good DIY cgi guestbook script? I know about all the cgi resource sites, I'm just looking for a second opinion. Why is it that cgi resource sites can never get their rating systems right? They have a top ten, but beyond that you just get lost in the cgi jungle. :(

Well I have always liked Ultimate GuestBook from Infopop (the makers of UBB).

VizBook (http://www.dtp-aus.com/cgiscript/vizbook.shtml) is also another good one.

Thanks for the tips, I'll check them out. It looks like Kyd is still dead. Has anyone got any news about them?
