View Full Version : What would make the script more popular?

My team is working on the next version of one of our mailing list managers, SonicMailer Pro. On the next release, one thing we are focusing on is efficiency of sending e-mails, as we have some customers with very large lists.

However, I recently thought of re-coding the entire administration area and making it considerably more brandable. Do you guys think this would improve the popularity of the script and incline more to purchase it?

Basically --> Do you think it is worth it?

By administration area do you mean for the admins or the users? Personally, I wouldn't care a bit if my (as an admin) administration area was brandable...I'm the only one likely to see it. But if it's for my users, yes, that'd be at least a bit of a point personally.

I guess both, but of course what the public sees would be more important. It is simply that I believe quite a few of our purchases are from designers for their clients, and therefore, that branding of the administration area is also needed.

In that case, I suggest you modify it and sell it as a separate product. I dunno how much work that'd be though.

Not a bad idea, of course, it would cost more :) I will definitely think about this one...
