counters and frames

This is probably a stupid question; I know I've figured it out before, but don't remember the solution. If I want a counter on my page, and am using frames, where should I put the code for the counter? If I put it on the index page, with the frameset code, it doesn't seem to count my visitors, but if I put it in one of the frames, it doesn't tell me the referring link correctly. What should I do? Thanks!

I don't know...tough one. I think you may have to compromise...or, put an enter page, or a page that redirects to your frame page, then it could work.

You can put the counter on your menu page - that's assuming your menu stays put. Or you can place it on the index.html file. The only problem with that solution is the counter won't be visible.
