where can learn macromedia flash?

i searched yahoo but i can not find a really good site

is there an easier sofwtare i can buy or download for free that can do this or even a site that can do it online?

Flash comes with a few very basic tutorials. Walk through them and then mess around a bit with it by yourself. Get to know what each button is called and what it's used for.
Then use google to find some tutorials sites and pick one that appeals to you and follow it through. Somewhere along the line you'll find something interesting you'll want to change or adapt a little and then off you go :)

IMHO Peachpit press makes the best references for these products. the university i work for uses some of them for text books; I don't think their java references are very good and they tend to be weak on actionscript as well, but they are the best for getting beginners up and running on macromedia products. look for the little white bunny logo on a red background at your local bookstore or go to amazon and search for 'visual quickstart guide' (this will bring up all the Peachpit titles).
