Ok I am planning on starting a free host, but I'm gonna need some help. I have 1 server we could use and yes it is running from my house off a dsl router (speed is 712kb per sec). I have install php,mysql,apache,etc on it. Its a 1.2ghz p4, 256mgs ram, 2 40gb hds, windows.
With all this said, I'm looking for a partner that has another computer that they could setup and use as a server (a linux machine) as well. Also they must have DSL, Cable or a higher connection. Having a past with php, apache, mysql would increase chances of you being chosen.
If all goes well and we get some donations then maybe we could move on to a server running of a OC connection? Just an idea. Thanks alot and please pm me or post contact info here.
