where can we get a list of words banned on these boards?

huh...? why would you need that list?

Are any words banned? Is there even a filter? The "Rules to Post on This Forum" do not mention any "banned" words, or is it a given that you don't want people swearing?

"f u c k" is the only one I know.

that list won't be publicly available. but yeah, it's the kind of words you don't allow in public moderated forums...

Personally, I believe the whole censor thing is plain dumb. I mean, people will still know what you mean, what you want to say. Besides, there are soooo many ways to bypass the censorship, so there really isn't any point.

like like for instance if the word ha was a bad word you could put h a and people know what you mean

Censorship stills block some people who don't use bypass methods. We should do all we can to block as much as possible. Some is better than none.

I dont think you need to use the whole word. people will usually guess what you are trying to say. sometimes you dont need any words. sometimes just the tone of your reply will carry a bit of fu¤k you in it.
