Weirds

I recently got photoshop 7 from my friend.
When I used it, the images' colors are different when they are open inside photoshop, which means when I open them in IE it shows different color but the color is similar to the one i saw in photoshop.

when you save an image that you intend to use on the web, you should use "save for web" which uses only 256 colours...photoshop displays (uuummm) a lot more (can't remember the exact number)....but i'm sure you get my meaning ;)

Yeah, I had this problem once, it showed blue in PS, then when I saved it it was all purple --ummm... I think Edit->Color Settings and in Settings, switch it to Web Graphics Default or Off.

Not sure, but I think the default colour settings in PS are CMYK (sound right?). Anyways, change it to RGB. That should work. And for the most part, when doing stuff for the web, use "Only Web Colors" selected.

Hm... I think they are correct, except, i dont think it'll display a different color but a clearer color, but try saving it as .jpg or go to save for web, it always works for me.
