personally, i would probaly create a self propagating virus that installed Gentoo Linux (http://www.gentoo.org) on every machine not already running it :) either that or a virus that deleted other viruses

i'd make a virus that crawls the web looking for pr0n and fills ur computer with pr0n that it downloads

Hmm...one that infects all mp3 files, and puts blips and beeps every so often in the song. That would be cool, teach those bastards stealing music. Still, people could have legit mp3's...so, it wouldn't only affect those doing things illegal, which wouldn't be good.

annoying people who use warez by showing up a red screen and a loud scream every time they open that file

I heard on the radio this morning that if people download the new Madonna album, all they will get when they open it, is Madonna's voice saying "What the **** are you doing????" I can't verify the source of that, but if I come across it, I will post it.

A Virus that searches every file on your hard drive for email addys, then plants a time bomb on your hard drive, and sends itself off to every single address it got, but nothing would happen to your computer that you can notice, so no one will look for the virus. Which then gives the virus plenty of time to spread to millions of computers without anyong noticing whats happening. Then on a certain date, the time bomb goes off wiping all the hard drives it is installed on, and screwing up the boot sector, and whatever it can on the hard drive, rendering your computer useless, and if possible add itself to somewhere on your computer, so when you got your hard drive fixed, it could activate itself after about another year or two, and do it all over again. And of course there would be no fix for the virus, until it went off for the first time, cause no one would notice that it was there. Now thats a nasty virus.

EDIT
And to top all things off, i would make sure it didn't get sent to any email addys containing .au, and i would stop it being sent to Aussie IP's. Hehehe now thats class.

I'd create a virus that causes one's eyes to puss over, ears to bleed and brain to expand, all the while degenerating the joints, dissolving muscle tissuse, and fooling the body into consuming itself.

A virus that searches the globe for the client executable (the one that is used to connect to the server on a victim computer and control it) of Subseven, Netbus, Back Orifice, and Back Orifice 2000 and it if finds it, it wipes the hard drive and attempts a CIH-esque hardware screwup. Death to the script kiddies.

I think I'd create a virus that would totally erase all data on a hard drive plus delete a computers BIOS, and fry the CPU whenever they click on the "Forward" button in their e-mail client after having received any e-mail message with the words "pass this on", or "Send this to everybody you know" in the message body
.:devious2:

I'd create a virus that logs keystrokes, and whenever someone types the string "PHP" + "Sucks", then It'd replace their boot sector :devious2:
That'd teach 'em...;)

Madonna To Pirates: 'What the F--- Do You Think You're Doing
Contributed by cabletron2000 on 17 Apr 2003 - 16:20 CET | 0 Comments

File traders, Madonna has a question for you: "What the f--- do you think you're doing?"

That's the message you're likely to get if you try to download songs from the singer's upcoming American Life, due April 22, on peer-to-peer networks such as Limewire or KaZaA.

The spoofed file — a planted fake meant to thwart illegal downloading — recently began flooding P2P networks. Madonna's spokesperson could not be reached for comment. Other spoofed files containing Madonna's salty tirade appeared on KaZaA in versions of the new songs "Nobody Knows Me" and "X-Static Process."

Only if you need military-grade security. At least you don't get nasty letters from your host asking you to remove certain perl scripts because of 91% CPU usage...
