Tony,

I wouldn't worry about the design too much. It's clean, simple, and effective. If you'd ploughed it under with flashing gifs and 100k images then I'd be more than happy to tear you a new one *grin*

I doubt it'll deter from the services. Good luck. :)

I don't see anything wrong with the design. It looks simple, yet modern. The site loads fast, and the service is good. But the most important aspect of the host is not yet known. How long will it stay up? I hope it is a long time.

well, i think I'm doing fine.. im going to start chargin overusing members... heres teh table of what im gonna charge...

- domain hosting -- $6 monthly
comes with an additional 20MB space, and 2 gb bandwidth

- bandwidth -- $2/gb/monthly

- space (domain or free account) - $4 monthly for 20mb

- mysql databases -- $10/yearly + $5 setup

what you think about this pricing?

On your site, you claimed to have "unlimited bandwidth," and now you're charging $2 per gigabyte?

TonyGM
April 14th, 2001, 22:12
$2/gb after 3 gb, because most sites so far have not used beyond even 1 gb.. and the ones that have have had something worked out with me.

I'm probably not gonna instate that one..

I miss the logic here. You are going to charge over users because you have no over users and therefor it's unlimited???? :p

Oh... one personal suggestion from me; lose the line below your logo. "Free webhosting the rocks" just doesnt sound right to me... dunno why ;)

Why are you posting in the FREE webspace forum then? Get over to that paid forum. Your service obviously doesn't belong here.....?

He offers free web hosting,,, if you go over 3 gigs in bandwidth you have to pay for it(from what I understand), similar to what Hypermart is now doing. This is fair, why isnt it free web hosting when most sites don't even go over 3 gigs of bandwidth a month?

He didn't start the topic either...

Blah -- Im not gonna charge anymore-- thats really stupid.. I think free hosting should remain free. But for users which want to pay a small price I think i'll host domains now that I got dedicated access ;)

Also the downtime was caused by stinkin' vdi.. They seem to be getting their act together tho.

Domain sounds nice if the price is right.
Do you offer SSI and .htaccess?

TonyGM
