Listing in yahoo or google ..

i got a freebie site and would like to make it more traffic . i think listing in yahoo or google is the best way to get , but how ?

if i may work at there , i rather shorter my life 2 years

velton, I might also suggest submitting it to DMOZ (http://dmoz.org)...you'll get included into Google and many other search engines if your site is listed :classic2:

Submitting to Google will automatically submit to most other major search engines. My other site was submitted in google, and it showed up on google AND yahoo.

It's rumored that Yahoo is going to switch to Inktomi instead of Google, Akalon and Bruce.
