Well, although I'm probably not known around here and probably no liked either, I figured I'd make this post just in case anyone cares.
I'm no longer going to be around here for a few different reasons such as completing highschool, getting a job, and some other personal things, so I know longet have the time to come around here.
However, my biggest reason for leaving is the immature posts by some of the younger members (you know who you are).
Now I know I myself am not all that mature, however when I see people making posts less mature than mine I know its time to leave.
Anyways, for those who care, I won't be around anymore (except maybe once in a blue moon to read some stuff).
And I wanted to say goodbye to Bruce, Blank Verse, Gayowulf, Moonman, and Daniel, you all were the only reason I kept on hanging around here.

W00t, I made a good impression(or a stupid one, maybe it's why you mentioned me last...)! :D
Sorry to see you go, however. I did enjoy your presence here when you were around. I bid you farewell, good luck on your future ideas, goals, projects, or whatever.
It was fun while it lasted, most of the time, eh 'Mr. Miller'?

They're popping off like badly-made bubble solution now, aren't they? The senior members I mean. Or, *ahem* at least attempting to :p
Sad to see you go, jmiller :(

so long dude, hope to see you back. Won't be the same without you.
And again, way to go to whichever members it is that are prompting him to leave. :angry2:

Sometimes it can help a lot in any online community you're a part of to take an occasional break when you feel it's not worth bothering with anymore and it should be something you do before you get all frustrated and worked up about it so to speak. Stay away for a few days or weeks after that or as long as it takes and then come back with a fresh head and see if it wasn't just a temporary thing. If you stay though it'll just build up to a point to where you resent being a part of it and stop coming back altogether as well.
I don't know you directly besides your username really but I'm sure certain people here will miss your input and insight but you have to do what you feel is best for you :)

Wow, I didn't think anyone would of cared 'bout my leaving.
Anyways I will be back eventually, like CareBear was saying, I have to take a break.
I used to love it here, now I am sick coming here and reading childish posts about "n00bs" and "windows sucks".
Well so long, just thought I'd pop by briefly and see what others had to say, and now I am off.

The FWS forums have really slowed down. It used to be I could check the General forum a few times a day and there'd always be new and relevant posts to read, but now it has come to the point where I can look every other day and every new thread be on the first page. It's a shame, too, cause this is the first online community that I really participated in. I still browse around the forums, just don't see much the point in posting much. Guess the General forum isn't in its prime anymore.

Good luck with school and work James :) I have noticed you haven't been around much in the last couple of months, so I figured you were busy elsewhere.

So everyone is relying on others to start new threads?

OK OK we all miss Captain Sodomy, it was so much fun with him here, but seriously Jan is right, we cant rely on everyone else to be starting threads, we have to start them as well. If everyone started one thread each, every couple of weeks then there would most likely be a lot more activity :).

You know, I hear about all these childish posts, but I must not see them. I must be too caught up in those war threads to be paying attention. :p Anyone have an example of a post where I'll see this kind of stuff? :confused2

And most fo those have been within the last few months.

People leaving goes in spurts. When I left last time (which I left for a while) there were around 10 other members that left with me. But I am kinda back. Every once in a while. I will try to be back more often. Oh remember the glory days of the old style board. Where when Peo implemented the forum post counter we would have posting wars to be on the top posters list. Well soo much for reveling in the past.

and Epgs... remember when it was cool to have posted in every single thread on the first page of each forum?
I wonder if I can find that screenshot of Coolin's... (I think it was him)

I remember that time. :) And I also remember how excited Epgs was when he finally reached 1000 posts and became an official NLCer. And that avatar... the 1000 post one that somebody made for him... he used it for a long time.
