Hi im designing a website for mobile fans and im stuck on what to put on the index page please can u help me by sugesting what i can put there, eg news updates u can edit the design if u wish and send it back to me at temp@mobilefanatic.co.uk

its your site, but what i do with mine is just put some information of any site updates. And then below that i have a list of the main links and an explanation of what's in the pages that they link to.

Use a news script, something like oxynews (http://oxynews.net) and it'll make it easy to post news, updates about the site etc.

It fills up your front page with something relevant and means when people visit they can easily see what's changed since their last visit, without having to search through all your pages.
