http://www.portland.co.uk - I'm sure you know theres only 100meg bandwidth a month.

BUT! Back when I was using them... I made great use of them by opening up one of their free VISP things, so that you can offer free webspace to users...

Now, I used it myself...

So, like... open up a new account subdomain.yourname.com and there ya've got an extra 100meg bandwidth and 15 meg space to store a few images or so there, and then do that lots...

It's a bit more work, but it works well :D

i can't believe he feels so compelled to start a free web host, yet has no desire to spend any money, and wants to actually host it on a free web host. anything sound crazy about that? or is it just me?

Yeah that's what I mean. Looks like that idea is out the window. I was getting around 300 hits every 5 hours with my FWP up. I really need unlimited bandwidth though... Im just making a new site. No FWP.

Uh, huh... so, with your FWP up, you get around 300 hits per 5 hours, but you can't host yourself on your FWP? WTF?! :confused:
