Hi,
I am looking for a paid host that doesnt cost too much, I also don't need a domain name at this point, so a subdomain will do just nicely. I can't seem to find a paid host that has the features I need. Most are just way overboard and too costly. Here's what I need:
- 30-50 MB space
- MS Access Support
- Subdomain
- Bandwidth 500MB at least
- 24/7 FTP
- No File Size Limit (For my .zip files)
- JSP or ASP (JSP preferred)
and most importantly, it HAS to be cheap. ;)
-thank you

Get the AH01 plan! Very cheap and it is, imo, the best host in the world. support is ALWAYS there 24/7. It's awesome, and yes, I say so cause i have an account with them. lol but try them out *nods*
Mandragora, whilst I would agree with your choice of host, I don't think Gary has gone into ASP/JSP just yet ;)

Yes, PHP is the web industry's standard today.
Personally I love JSP, because i am a Java programmer.
but the thing is that. JSP And ASP is really HEAVY.. when compared to PHP.. Also, JSP.. if host on Tomcat (which most host does), will be slow in handling requests. And ASP is heavy with MS ACCESS.. not recommended.. though...
PHP is really easy. if you know JSP. PHP is just a matter of learning it for a few hours.. Same concepts..etc.. just need to learn some new syntax...
We are offering packages starting at $0.90/month
1 GIG diskspace
2 GIG transfer space
