Honestly, no.
You might wanna try some of the hosts listed in a few other threads, especially this Russian host that was listed, seems bloody good to me, I just signed up for it.

Cheap host like this, does it exist?

How about a paid host?

They don't have CGI or PHP, but you could try http://www.crosswinds.net

http://www.spaceports.com also has 10 megs of space on the CGI server, but unlimited space on the normal servers. You can use both accounts.

you shouldn't need files more than 500k in size on a free host. out of all the freely hosted sites i control, the biggest file is maybe 20 kb.

unless you're trying to build a download site, but what's the point of those anyhow.

Then your ideal host is http://www.spaceports.com and/or http://www.crosswinds.net

I know that crosswinds has no known file size limit, not sure about spaceports though. Spaceports is way faster than crosswinds.

Made up your mind yet?

PS. Oh, yeah, and somebody said a few days ago about how you couldn't sign up with Crosswinds, so...

free hosting with: 50mb+, no file size limit, CGI or ASP
will be good too...

Uh, that's like asking for the same thing. You'll do fine at spaceports, they're fast and have been around for a while.

There's no "yet" about it. He said he's not going to offer ftp on this hosting plan. His new plan will have like 20 megs and ftp.

These guys are very slow, they have popups on every single page, and you can't use a free email account to sign up. Not to mention they've stopped signups for more than 6 months now... maybe even a year.
