Saving username/password option doesn't work

In IE, whenever the little login form pops up and I type everything in and check the 'Remember' option and it never remembers it .. is it a bug or something?

Is it one only one site? Have you tried on more than one? I know because of the coding of some sites that feature doesn't work.

it doesn't fill it in automatically.. have you tried double clicking the first field of the form? Or typing the first few letters always works for me too.
Also if it's for forums, try to avoid filling a username/password for a .php page. Just use http://someforum.com/ or http://somewhere/forums/ since any other page tends to have different querystrings each time you visit.

Yes I know how to use the feature. :p
It works fine on my other computer.
Also, I'm on IE 6 SP1 and Windows XP Home Edition.
