PHP dumber

Is it possible for someone who knows nothing about PHP (me) to get a Forum installed and working? I can get a Perl script to work (mostly) but roll around on the floor and giggle when I'm done. Do I stand a chance?

Usually PHP scripts are easier to install. Mostly you only need to change a config file upload everything and perhaps chmod a file...

If you read the docs you should be fine.

Most newbies who knows almost nothing about scripting can setup their own scripts. Scripts you download usually comes with a readme text file, and most tells you what to do right in the script file. So all you have to do is gather the information that's required by your script (like your full path) and customize it, and you're done!
