reccomendation?

* User Placeable Banners or footer banners.
* .htaccess
* Short address or subdomain
* Good uptime.
* FTP.

That's it. Please don't leave anything out in your recommentions.

Is Virtualavenue still around? If so, that was the one I used before I started paying... it is quite decent. But this is from a long time ago...

Edit: Sorry, I just realized that Virtualave.net offers only 500MB/Bandwidth. Try webhostme.com.

I beleive spaceports has them all, although I ain't sure about the .htaccess

It has a lot more features than you asked, it even pays you for the clicks on the banners :)

It offers a long URL, but you can use -------- (or some other rederect service)

I agree, F2S has everything you need. Some find them slow, but I find that their speed is fast enough.
