Expirefish sucks, lost 3 so far. 2 of them went to buydomains.com (newontheweb.com is one of them). Has anyone failed to get a domain through snapnames?

Expirefish IS NOT A COMPETITIVE SERVICE. It is a service of convenience. It registers the name hours after dropping while buydomains grabs it on the millisecond. Do not believe there is a snowball's chance in hades of expirefish ever succeeding.

Snapnames-- A highly regarded service but it loses. 90% sitewide success rate, but if you are going after highly prized domains then the success rate is much slimmer but the performance in comparison to Buy Domains is still good.

I tried to snap a domain name that was about to be deleted,
using Godaddy's "domain alert" backorder service: it failed :-(
(The domain name was grabbed by RareNames2 WebReg2, a
speculative company i guess, connected with BUYDOMAINS.COM)
Obviously I cannot recommend using godaddy's services, I have
serious doubts that they tried to question the domain's availability enough often...
I think this is high fly business that speculators can afford, I hate them!

:( Well, I'm a speculator.

Anyways, Godaddy is not a highly regarded service but 1/100 attempts it works and registers highly competitive names such as gqq.com

Btw--You must distinguish speculators. BuyDomains is a mamoth and I have had heart breaking loses against them. They beat me on invitro.com And I was connected to a 5 figure www.namewinner.com bid to get it! You can get a sense of their awesome power.... Speculators are mostly small fish.

Yes, namewinner and snapnames are probably the best.
